Teaching

During the Winter quarter, Dr Micheli teaches "Marine Ecology" (bio 172H). In Spring, she co-teaches either "Problems in Marine Ecology and Ecophysiology" (bio 175H, team-taught by the HMS faculty) or Stanford@Sea, a 10-week intensive course in oceanography, maritime studies, marine conservation and nautical sciences, including 5 weeks at sea (co-taught with B. Block, W. Gilly and R. Dunbar). In Summer, Micheli and Watanabe co-teach "Ecology and conservation of rocky shores" (bio 181H), in alternate years to Stanford@Sea.
